Part of the work I've done today is gathering and collecting research to show, I already posted about 'The visual dictionary of Typography', and today I've scanned a few pages ready to analyse them. It's a really good book that briefly covers loads of different aspects of typography. Things I knew I would have to look at (because of the nature of the type manipulation) would be kerning, leading etc. I also found a really good page on the anatomy of type, something I can check back on over time.
In the last four photos you can see how the actual ideas generation has developed, I've done 18 in total, and I'm fairly confident there are some in there that could make it through to the end.
